I have been pleasantly surprised by your service. I was operating under the mentality that this was a last resort, and if it was unsuccessful, I would be forced to open my own practice or move. Two interviews later, with intelligent, pleasant partners at reputable firms, my disposition has improved considerably. You have a wonderful staff, and my results have certainly made me feel better about my ability as a lawyer.

I'm never listening to my Career Services Office again!! Not only did they tell me that Philadelphia was such a bad area that I am going to have a hard time finding a job, they also said that instead of paying for a service, I should do this on my own! Ridiculous - you guys did work with my resume and cover letter that I never would have, and it was a lifesaver. I didn't have to try to gather data from places like Martindale every weeknight - you guys just helped me reach 300 employers in less than two weeks! … I've gotten two interviews already, and one of the firms had just lost an associate the day before they got my resume, so they hadn't even started looking for someone and my resume was in the right place at the right time!

I had the most amazing success from my job search. I sent out letters to almost every law firm in the Sacramento area. The representative I spoke with convinced me that I had to get maximum exposure because I went to a fourth-tier school and have spent the last few years in a non-law firm job. I got a ton of interviews. I can't even remember how many I had to turn down, because two weeks after I sent out the letter, I had no less than THREE OFFERS! WOW! You guys did great! Thank you!

I wanted to thank Legal Authority for a successful job search. I sent out more than 400 resumes, and the response was very positive. I had about 14 separate interviews (most with callbacks for second interviews) ranging from small law firms to the largest law firms in the central New York area. I also received several dozen telephone calls from attorneys who wanted to discuss job opportunities or just wanted to help with advice and encouragement. All together, I received six job offers, of which three were more than satisfactory. I chose a law firm in Syracuse, which was ideal for me in several important respects. I believe that the resume that Legal Authority helped me to prepare was an essential part of the process, along with the data base that we used to set up the mass mailing. I received many complimentary comments from lawyers and others on the high quality of the resume, but they never realized that they were just one of 400. I was not looking forward to this job search, which seemed daunting and overwhelming, but Legal Authority made it easy and organized. I would highly recommend Legal Authority to anyone who is planning an attorney job search. Thank you and the staff for everything.

Legal Authority really worked well for me. My Employment Advocate was great. He gave me really sound advice about my resume and cover letter. The writing process took a while, but went very well, and my resume and cover letter looked great. I got a job offer from one of the contacts, and when I called my Employment Advocate, he gave me great advice about negotiating. I am now working and would definitely recommend the service to my colleagues.

I wanted to let you know my current situation. After sending out resumes, I got 3 interviews the week before Christmas. I received an offer rather quickly from one: XXX, an intellectual property litigation boutique . I accepted the position and began work today. They offered me a second-year salary, which was much more than I had expected. Of the other firms, one interviewed me twice, but did not extend an offer. The other one -- I forgot the name, but it was the IP litigation division of this GP firm -- gave me a short interview but I have yet to hear from them.
I think the market is still very tight and I'm very glad to have found such a great position. Thanks for all your help. I found your work on my resume and cover letter to be excellent!

Offer! The firm is a smaller firm that works in a variety of areas like business and commercial litigation. They seemed really excited that they got my resume, even though I went to Pace, and didn't do that well. I guess they had been looking quietly for someone for a while and hadn't had any good prospects. Anyways, I start work on Monday and think it will be a good fit for me. Thanks for your hard work.

I just wanted to email and say THANK YOU!! I don't know if you remember me, but I used that other company to do a mailing and it was so bad that I was about to give up completely and move back home with my parents. You were very helpful over the phone and I felt like you really listened to me and counseled me on my issues. You were right, too - all I needed was to get something of higher quality to the right firm at the right time. So far, I've gotten four interviews, and I only sent the letters out a week ago. This is GREAT! I'll keep you updated as I go on the interviews, too.

Thanks for your advice. One of the interviews went really well and the other two were just OK mainly because I wasn't as interested or familiar with their areas of practice (medical malpractice) as I was with the other firm (general practice). At the interview that went really well, I managed to go through rounds with all the partners, but was edged out by a candidate that had more trial experience. I will follow up with the firms that haven't contacted me yet. My friends from my graduating class tell me that I am doing REALLY well compared to most and some of them are probably going to call you.

Sent 300 letters, got 3 interviews within one week, and 8 days after sending the letters I had a great offer. I love the firm and the environment. I am enjoying my new job immensely and the location is so perfect. Thank you again for all your help. I could not have done this without you or your company.
